Our Mission: Respecting the Past, Preserving the Future

At Legacy Stone Preservation, we believe that every headstone tells a story. These memorials are more than just stone; they are the lasting footprints of the people who shaped our families and our community. Our mission is to restore the dignity of these sacred sites through professional, non-invasive conservation, ensuring that the legacies of the Golden Triangle remain readable and respected for generations to come.

The Legacy Story

Based in the heart of Southeast Texas, Legacy Stone Preservation was born out of a deep respect for local history and a noticed need for proper stone care. We saw too many historic markers being damaged by harsh chemicals, wire brushes, and high-pressure washing. We knew there was a better way—a way that honored the stone and the person it remembers.

Founded by a team dedicated to craftsmanship and community service, we have committed ourselves to the highest standards of cemetery preservation. Whether we are working in the historic cemeteries of Beaumont, the family plots of Silsbee, or the quiet churchyards of Lumberton, we treat every site as if it belonged to our own family.

The “Do No Harm” Standard

We aren’t just “cleaning” stones; we are preserving them. We follow the NCPTT (National Center for Preservation Technology and Training) standards for cemetery conservation.

What makes us different?

Safe Chemistry: We exclusively use D/2 Biological Solution, a biodegradable, pH-neutral cleaner trusted by the National Park Service and the VA.

No Harsh Methods: We never use bleach, acids, or pressure washers. Our work is done by hand with soft-bristle brushes and patience.

Full-Service Care: From deep biological cleaning to professional site grooming and floral tributes, we provide a complete care solution for your loved one’s final resting place.

Why We Do It

Preservation is a labor of love. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a 100-year-old marble marker emerge from decades of lichen and grime, standing bright and clear once again. We do this for the families who can’t make it to the cemetery as often as they’d like, for the historians who want to save our local heritage, and for the mothers and fathers whose stories deserve to be told.

Let us help you honor your family’s legacy. Because memories shouldn’t fade.

Respectfully,

Breanna & Shawn Dean
